Police in Ellenville are investigating the deaths of two adult siblings found deceased inside a home in the village Tuesday morning.
Authorities say Timothy Lane and Tammy Ducker were found inside 129 Center Street at approximately 7:44 a.m.
Lane and Ducker were identified as siblings by relatives on the scene.
Authorities say they were found after police were called to the home for welfare check.
“Police used forced entry and when they went in they observed two deceased bodies, one male and one female,” said Ellenville Police Chief Philip Mattracion.
He says there’s no sign of foul play, or danger to the public, and that the cause of the deaths is pending the result of toxicology tests.
