Police break up alleged underage drinking bash
A local father and his son were arrested Friday for allegedly hosting an underage drinking party at their home, police say.
Police say the two were taken into custody when officers responded to reports of a commotion at 76 Brook St. in Croton-on-Hudson. When they arrived at the scene, 53-year-old Ramon Santos, who claimed he was unaware his 17-year-old son was hosting a party, tried to prevent officers from entering his apartment. Authorities say the noise may have been caused by girl at the party who had a fight with her boyfriend. According to police, they found six teenagers, ages 16 to 19, drunk at the apartment.
Ramon Santos was charged with unlawfully dealing with a minor and obstruction of governmental administration. His son, Dominick Santos, was charged for possession of a knife. Ramon and Dominick Santos are scheduled to appear before a judge Wednesday.
