A young boy is in surgery after a rock climbing incident in Croton-on-Hudson near Colabaugh Pond.
Officials say the 9-year-old boy was with his father, Omar Wohabe, and was climbing a rock wall when he slipped, causing a rock to come lose and fall on him.
The boy was taken to Westchester Medical Center with serious leg injuries.
Police urge anyone with children to keep a close eye on their children and prevent them from climbing on the rock walls.
