Police apprehend man accused in fatal stabbing
Police have apprehended the Mount Vernon man accused of killing his mother?s boyfriend.
According to police, 24-year-old Tony Clark was hiding in the Bronx since the incident Monday. Authorities say the victim, 45-year-old Tracee McGhee, was arguing with Clark?s mother when the suspect intervened. Police say Clark stabbed McGhee during the altercation.
Clark now faces first-degree manslaughter charges. He could serve up to 25 years behind bars if convicted. Authorities say Clark has an extensive criminal record, with five felony arrests.
