Police: 4 hospitalized after New Rochelle HS incident
A New Rochelle High School student caused her school to go into lockdown due to an apparent medical incident, and the brother of a student involved says police "acted wrongfully" in handling his sister.

The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. Thursday when police say a student was acting out of control after an apparent crisis related to her psychiatric background.

After attempting to transport the girl to the hospital, police say two students tried to physically prevent the officers from doing so.

Authorities ended up bringing all three girls to the hospital for observation and toxicology tests. A police officer was also sent to the hospital.

The event caused the school to be put into lockdown for about 45 minutes.

Eduardo Meza's sister was one of the two girls who officers say attempted to stop police from bringing her friend to the hospital. He says that the officers "tossed her on the side" and "acted wrongfully."

Two students were arrested for obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest.

New Rochelle school officials say the students could face disciplinary action.
