Maybrook police say the driver collided with a turning tractor-trailer near Route 208 and I-84 Monday night, after speeding up with police in tow - instead of pulling over for a minor traffic violation.

10h agoA 20-year-old driver who crashed his car during a high-speed police chase in Orange County is in critical condition, authorities say.
Maybrook police say the driver collided with a turning tractor-trailer near Route 208 and I-84 Monday night, after speeding up with police in tow - instead of pulling over for a minor traffic violation.
State police and the Orange County District Attorney's Office are investigating the crash.
The driver was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center.
