Two teens from Westchester County are in police custody facing charges for attempted murder.
Police say 18-year-old Ku-Shown Jefferson, from Yonkers, and 18-year-old Donte Ramsey, from Mount Vernon, were both involved in a shooting incident that left a man hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the leg.
It happened three days after Christmas near Yonkers Avenue.
Jefferson was taken into custody two days later. Ramsey was arrested in Mount Vernon two weeks ago.
Police say they believe the suspects and the apparent victim were known to each other and engaged in a gun fight on city streets.
The injured suspect was treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
