A shooting in Yonkers Friday evening left two corrections officers in critical condition and one dead, police say.
The incident happened on Buckingham Road at 11 p.m. Sources close to the victims say the shooter, 40-year-old Edward Quinoy of Tarrytown, fired at a male multiple times in the abdomen before firing at a female in the face and stomach.
Quinoy then took his own life.
Sources also say the female victim recently broke up with Quinoy and started dating the male victim, whom she now lives with.
The Yonkers Police Department says the incident was an attempted murder-suicide.
The victims and shooter were employed by the Westchester County Department of Correction.
