12ds agoThe community of Pleasantville is paying tribute to the late George Foscante, a beloved and long-time crossing guard.
In September, signs were displayed, and balloons were put up along Bedford Road and Broadway in his memory.
A memorial plaque dedication will take place today at the same corner where he protected many students and residents.
Foscante, aged 78, passed away suddenly on Sept. 11.
