It seems a plea deal may be in the works for the former Yonkers school board member who police say was caught skinny dipping in a neighbor?s pool this week, according to the man's lawyer.
Tom Weibrecht appeared in Mount Pleasant Town Court Thursday and said little. Police say he was caught Saturday in the pool of a home on Old Chappaqua Road in Briarcliff Manor. He was staying in a house down the street, according to police.
The owners of the home, which is up for sale, say they usually let neighbors swim in the pool, but that Weibrecht had not been given permission.
Weibrecht is also the Yonkers capital projects director. As details in the case have emerged, it has become unclear whether he actually lives in the Yonkers city limits as is required for his position. He does have a Yonkers address, but appeared to have been staying in Briarcliff Manor.
Weibrecht was charged with trespassing and exposure. He is due back in court Sept. 11.
