The American Coaster Enthusiasts has designated Playland’s “Kiddy Coaster” as a roller coaster landmark.
It is made entirely of wood and has been a favorite since the park first opened back in 1928.
"It is a tremendous recognition in our 90th year here at Playland of the traditional, historic nature and hope it keeps growing for all of our Westchester residents," said Westchester County Deputy County Executive Ken Jenkins.
Playland now has two roller coasters designated as landmarks. The first was the “Dragon Coaster.”
