Pink for Camilla: Community asked to wear pink in honor of 1st birthday for girl killed in Naugatuck
Police in Naugatuck have asked the community to wear Pink for Camilla Saturday on what would have been the 1st birthday of the girl allegedly killed by her father last month.
Police say they recognize the community wishes to show support for the family of Camilla Francisquini and so they are asking the public to wear pink or to display pink-colored lights throughout town.
Police say all are invited to the ceremonial town tree lighting Saturday at 5 p.m. on the green.
Those in attendance are asked to wear pink or display pink colors in honor of Camilla.
