The Piermont Fire Department conducted a simulated boat accident drill to prepare for potential emergencies on the water.
Crews were challenged to rescue six drowning and six surface victims during the drill.
Multiple dive teams, marine units and ambulances from Rockland and Westchester counties participated.
The department invited spectators to safely view the drills from outside and around the pier. News 12’s Jade Nash was there with more.
