Metro-North trains are running on a normal service again after a person was hit and killed on the tracks.
MTA officials say a man was seen walking on the tracks around 8 p.m. Tuesday near the Purdy's station.
The train engineer hit the brakes but was unable to stop in time.
The victim's name has not been released.
