78 people across the Hudson Valley test positive for coronavirus

Westchester County has an infection rate of 1% with 560 active cases.

The Hudson Valley continues to battle the coronavirus.
Out of more than 6,800 people tested across the Mid-Hudson Region, 78 tested positive for coronavirus.
Here are the number of new cases in each county:
  • 36 in Westchester
  • 17 in Dutchess
  • 10 in Rockland
  • 10 in Orange
  • 3 in Putnam
  • 2 in Sullivan
Westchester County has an infection rate of 1% with 560 active cases. Westchester County Executive George Latimer says COVID-19 has continued to decline for almost four months now, but he says people need to  continue wearing masks, social distancing and sanitizing your hands. "We are now starting the first day of fall. We have survived the whole summertime. We have still kept a low level of infection."
