Passengers rescued from sinking sailboat in Long Island Sound

New Rochelle police say the sailboat's captain was the one to call for help after swimming to the shore around 6:45 p.m. near the Davenport Beach Club.

Passengers were pulled to safety from a sinking sailboat in the Long Island Sound Monday night.
New Rochelle police say the sailboat's captain was the one to call for help after swimming to the shore around 6:45 p.m. near the Davenport Beach Club.
Three other passengers were still on the boat even as it started to capsize.
Thankfully, everyone made it to safety.
All the passengers refused treatment.
