? Ossining police are investigating what they are calling a ?bait and switch? scam of a pregnant woman.

Investigators say the woman, who is eight months pregnant, told police Tuesday that two women and a man had kidnapped and robbed her. Officers say the woman admitted on Friday that she made up the story because she was embarrassed about being scammed by the trio. The victim now says she willingly went with them because they promised her cash if she helped them claim a lottery prize. Instead, investigators say the suspects took the woman to a bank and swindled her out of $2,000.

Police say the victim will not face charges even though she lied to officers. Authorities are reviewing surveillance tapes at the bank to identify the suspects.
