Ossining police shut down an event that was planned for Saturday at the Ossining waterfront.
Authorities say the event billed as both a "protest" and "music festival" was in direct violation of COVID-19 social distancing and mass gathering restrictions.
Officers were posted at Louis Engel Park to let people who might still show up know that the event is canceled.
