Orange County to crack down on social distancing violations

Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler and Sheriff Carl DuBois say they have set up a system to investigate reports into the state’s New York Pause Taskforce.

Orange County is dedicating law enforcement officials to investigate complaints regarding non-essential businesses or gatherings. 
Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler and Sheriff Carl DuBois say they have set up a system to investigate reports into the state’s New York Pause Taskforce.
They say the system will streamline the reporting process and alleviate call volume at local police departments.
Complaints are reviewed by state police, and the Sheriff's and DA's offices at 833-789-0470 or online.
