A new measure has been implemented in Orange County assisted living facilities and nursing homes to stop the spread of COVID-19.
The county has officially suspended all in-person visits due to a surge in the number of newly diagnosed cases of coronavirus in nursing homes.
The order also includes long-term care facilities and hospitals.
Residents of those facilities also must quarantine for two weeks if they leave to see a doctor or for another reason.
