Orange County seems to have been spared from the brunt of Wednesday’s nor’easter.
Conditions looked good throughout the county at the start of the evening commute.
Major roads and secondary roads were dry.
Orange County was expected to see up to 6 inches, with some schools deciding to close or dismiss students early Wednesday morning in preparation for the storm. But residents say the preparations seemed to be for nothing.
"The fake snow? I mean, what snowstorm is there? It's pretty clear!” said Marquis Parker, of Newburgh.
