Orange and Rockland Utilities is continuing to restore power to Hudson Valley residents following last week's nor'easter.

A spokesman for the utility said about 350 customers in Rockland County were still power by midday Monday.

Crews were working at several locations throughout the day, including Hillside Avenue in Monsey, where a tree took down power lines during the last storm.

Affected residents say the prolonged outages have proved difficult.

"When we lose power, we lose water," said Donna Muro, of Monsey. "We don't have heat. We have the wood stove. It's OK, but it's not great."

Muro, whose mother is bedridden, said she was able to get on a medical priority list but didn't get power restored until Sunday.

O&R said crews were working around the clock to get the rest of its customers back online while fixing widespread damages similar to those that occurred during Superstorm Sandy.

Another winter storm Tuesday could bring at least a couple of inches of snow to the Hudson Valley.
