Port Jervis police released details about what Orange & Rockland is doing to get ready for the remnants of Hurricane Nicole this weekend.
Orange & Rockland officials say teams will be activated early Friday night to increase the workforce to more than three times its usual size.
Officials warn people to not touch downed wires and to not go near a car if there is a fallen wire on it. They also say people should keep emergency equipment such as portable radios, flashlights, spare batteries and first aid kits nearby.
