One injured in drive-by shooting outside Yonkers nightclub

Yonkers police are investigating a drive-by shooting outside a nightclub Friday that sent one man to the hospital. According to police, Club Razzues on Yonkers Avenue was rented out for a private party.

Yonkers police are investigating a drive-by shooting outside a nightclub Friday that sent one man to the hospital.
According to police, Club Razzues on Yonkers Avenue was rented out for a private party. A 22-year-old party promoter from White Plains apparently got into a fight with another man inside the club around 3 a.m. Bouncers broke up the altercation. Police say about an hour later the promoter was standing outside the club when shots were fired from a passing van.
Tthe victim was hit once in the arm and a second bullet grazed his forehead. He was taken to Saint Joseph's Hospital. Exit 3 of the Cross County Parkway and a portion of Yonkers Avenue was shut down while police investigated. Police are checking to see if there is a connection between the earlier altercation and the shooting. It is the fifth shooting in the city in the past two weeks.
