Officials unveiled the $500,000 makeover of Court Street in White Plains Wednesday.

Along with a farmer's market every Wednesday, the city says it will host other public events on the street as well, including summer yoga sessions, last week's Halloween festival and a New Year's celebration.

It has new street lights, a security system and a European aesthetic.

"I always find there's improvements here," says Larry Anzelowitz, of White Plains. "Things that I never even thought of."
