The Port Chester Police Department says a suspicious package was found at a Home Depot parking lot on Monday. 

Police say they were advised of the abandoned package at the Home Depot on Midland Avenue. 

They say the package was later identified to contain lithium batteries and was not a threat to the public. 

Officials say the person who left the package behind was contacted by police.
