Officials say that a homeless man suffered a serious head injury Tuesday morning after being struck by a car in Valhalla.
The man, who is said to be in his 70s and staying at the Grasslands Homeless Shelter, was struck around 7:30 a.m. on Woods Road.
Officials say that the car was driven by someone who works at Westchester Medical Center.
They say that the victim was taken to Westchester Medical Center and that the driver stayed on the scene.
