The Westchester County Parks Department held a forum today to discuss the growing number of deer in the area. County officials say the animals can cause concerns over Lyme disease and car accidents.

Officials hold deer management forum in Westchester
The Westchester County Parks Department held a forum today to discuss the growing number of deer in the area.
County officials say the animals can cause concerns over Lyme disease and car accidents.
The event at the Westchester County Center brought together local municipalities, state DEC officials and animal advocates to discuss methods of deer management.
County Parks officials say no decisions were going to be made at the deer forum. It was more of an educational discussion.
