Three families were displaced by an early morning fire in downtown Yonkers.

The building at 80 Maple St. is currently unlivable, according to Yonkers fire officials.

Crews were called to the scene around 1:15 a.m.

All seven people in the building escaped without injury, but two city firefighters suffered minor injuries.
