Greenwich officials are warning residents to keep their dogs away from a park after raccoons in the area tested positive for a viral disease.
Official say tests taken on several raccoons at Greenwich Point Park came back positive for distemper. Distemper is a highly contagious viral disease that's usually fatal to unvaccinated dogs.
Health officials say dogs are banned from the park starting this weekend until they come up with plan to control the virus in the raccoon population.
