New Rochelle leaders and developers celebrated the grand opening Friday of the luxury building "The Printhouse" on Huguenot Street.

The "Printhouse" is one of about 30 projects in the pipeline aimed at transforming downtown New Rochelle over the next decade

"We're really just enormously gratified to see the vision of an economically and culturally vibrant downtown begin to take shape," says New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson.

The six-story mixed-use building boasts high-end appliances, fixtures, a state-of-the art fitness center and a landscaped rooftop terrace.

"New Rochelle has a number of really good factors working for it," says developer Philip Watkins.
