The sheriff's office says someone alerted deputies Monday morning that they may have seen a body in the river near the Mid-Hudson Bridge.
The Sheriff's Office Marine Patrol found the body with help from someone working at Hyde Park Marina.
Investigators say it appears to be a woman, but the body hasn't been identified yet.
