Officials say one person was injured in a fire at a senior living apartment building in Ossining on Thursday.
Ossining fire officials tell News 12 they do not know the extent of his injuries at this time.
They say the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it started in the man's sixth-floor apartment.
The smoke was seen pouring out of his window after crews smashed his window.
The fire did not spread to any other units in the building, and no other resident or firefighter was injured.
News 12 was told the fire was able to be contained fairly quickly.
