It happened around 7 p.m. on Route 6 between Sunnyside and Berger streets.
Officials say that the victim was dead when first responders arrived on the scene.
The victim's name is not being released.
The condition of the driver and what caused the crash are under investigation.
Yorktown police are leading the investigation and the Mohegan Fire Department assisted at the scene.
