New Rochelle High School's outgoing principal will not heading to a new job in New York City.
Reginald Richardson is no longer being offered a part-time position with the New York City Department of Education as Director of School Quality. A spokesperson with the DOE says the offer was pulled after they were made aware of new information.
The New York Post claims it was after it made a call to the department.
On Friday, Richardson had announced he was leaving his job as principal next month.
The high school was rocked by a series of violent incidents this year, including the fatal stabbing of a student off-campus. An alleged grade-fixing scheme also came during his tenure.
Richardson is under contract with the district through Aug. 20.
