Nyack man dies in Long Island crash

<p>Police say a Nyack man was killed and his passenger was injured when the Porsche they were riding in veered off the road and collided with a pole on Long Island Saturday afternoon.&nbsp;</p>

Police say a Nyack man was killed and his passenger was injured when the Porsche they were riding in veered off the road and collided with a pole on Long Island Saturday afternoon.
The driver, identified as 54-year-old Edward H. Reich, had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was taken to Southampton Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
His passenger, identified as 54-year-old Robert Kostro, of East Hampton, was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital. Kostro is listed in serious but stable condition.
The Porsche was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is ongoing.
