NY casinos allowed to reopen today

Resorts World Catskills in Monticello is opening its doors today, while Empire City Casino in Yonkers is planning on reopening Sept. 21.

Bets are back on! Casinos across the state can welcome back guests today.
Resorts World Catskills in Monticello is opening its doors today while following a 21-point safety plan and the state’s guidelines to ensure a safe reopening.
Capacity at all New York casinos is capped at 25%, face coverings are mandatory, and slot machines must be six feet apart, or have barriers.
Food and drink service will be suspended on the gaming floor and enhanced air filtration and disinfection protocols must also be in place.
Empire City Casino in Yonkers is planning on reopening Sept. 21 at 10 a.m.
