1,486ds agoNew York State Attorney General Letitia James is urging the Black Lives Matter Foundation to stop asking for donations in New York.
The foundation has no affiliation with the Black Lives Matter movement.
James says the foundation has failed to register as a charitable organization in the state, and has not shared how the donations would be used. Therefore, James says, those solicitations are illegal.
