A Westchester IV nurse is wearing multiple hats by both saving lives, and now, writing books.
Danielle Orsino is releasing the first book in her fantasy series "Birth of the Fae: Locked out of Heaven."
She tells News 12 she has never written stories before, and that the ideas came from the stories she would tell to one of her Lyme disease patients to help pass the time.
“Every day I told him a new chapter…kept him entertained and he made it through treatment. He said at the end of it, ‘you have to tell the story. It's great.’ Then Fae was born,” Orsino says.
"Birth of the Fae: Locked out of Heaven" is officially on the shelf and can be purchased now.
