Norwalk Transit District unveils new logo
The Norwalk Transit District unveiled its new logo Monday.
The new logo shows Norwalk’s skyline with customers boarding a transit vehicle.
The old logo was used for about 40 years.
Officials say the new logo offers a more accurate representation of Norwalk.
Norwalk Transit District CEO Kimberlee Morton says, "We are in a community that has evolving transportation needs at this time and it is a wonderful representation to be able to roll out a new image for the transit district that shows that we are trying to represent all the needs of everybody in our community."
Norwalk Transit District also announced that 25 new wheelchair-accessible vehicles will be added over the next year and some of the fixed route buses will be replaced as well.
