The early childhood development center in Bedford-Stuyvesant's Louis Armstrong Houses will soon look a little different thanks to the nonprofit Rebuilding Together NYC and volunteers from Accenture.
The center provides free programming to the community. Staff say its playground and garden weren't safe for children and needed upgrades, so they reached out to the nonprofit to have the area renovated.
Walls are being repainted, and plants are being added to the garden.
Rebuilding Together NYC staffers say they love being able to make a difference in the community.
The renovations will also help the center create new community programming.
