A Newburgh pet who vanished from a yard two years ago has been found alive and well in Florida.
Nika, a toy fox terrier, showed up more than 1,000 miles away from her home in Ocala, Florida.
The dog was taken to a veterinarian's office, and her microchip revealed her identity and that she was missing from the Hudson Valley.
Animal control officials in Florida contacted Nika's owner, who can't wait to be reunited.
