Police in Newburgh made a major weapons bust Thursday, seizing more than two truckloads of guns.
Michael Petrosino, 23, was arrested at his home on Powder Mill Road in Newburgh after neighbors reported hearing shots fired.
Among the weapons seized by police were sawed-off shotguns, military- and assault-style weapons. Silencers were also found.
"When we saw them carry literally boxes and boxes and cases and cases of guns out of that house and filling up three different trucks on Monday night, we were just shocked that we were living next to a domestic terrorist," said neighbor Timothy McCullough.
Petrosino is being charged with illegal possession of a firearm, reckless endangerment and illegally discharging a weapon.
Petrosino has been released on $5,000 and is awaiting his next court date.
