A new transit service will replace the Tappan Zee Express on Oct. 29.
The Hudson Link will take four different routes, stopping in Rockland and Westchester. It's primary purpose is to connect Rockland riders to the Metro-North stations in Tarrytown and White Plains.
The New York State Department of Transportation says the buses come equipped with free Wi-Fi, as well as new technology that will reduce travel times for the 230 one-way rides per day between the counties.
The Hudson Link will have a new schedule with different timetables.
The timetables have been posted on the state government's official website, but haven't been posted on the Hudson Link website.
Officials say buses will run daily between 4 a.m. and midnight.
Riders can also pay for tickets in cash, credit or on a new mobile app.
The DOT says it’s ready to roll out the new service and that it believes commuters will enjoy the ride.
