Two new signs were installed Friday on the Taconic State Parkway where Diane Schuler went the wrong way and crashed into another car.
One of the 'wrong way' signs was erected on the Pleasantville Road exit ramp, where Schuler, who according to a toxicology report was drunk and high on marijuana, made her error.
The crash resulted in the death of the driver, her 2-year-old daughter and her three nieces. Three Yonkers men were also killed.
A spokesperson from the state Department of Transportation says the signs that were already on the road followed state guidelines. The new signs are meant to enhance drivers' perception.
