There is a sad update on the family of a beloved New Rochelle restaurateur who died from COVID-19.
The son of the late Jose Almazan has also passed away from the virus, according to a post on a GoFundMe page.
Jose, who was 79 years old, died last month. News 12 has learned his son Edwin died over the weekend at the age of 43.
The Almazans owned the Little Mexican Cafe in New Rochelle for the past 30 years.
