New Rochelle ready for potential flooding
With more snow in this week's forecast, many drivers and municipalities are preparing for the possibility of localized flooding in coastal areas.
New Rochelle Department of Public Works Commissioner Alex Tergis says some flooding could occur on low-lying roads and other areas. Cameron Dock in New Rochelle is one such area that may be impacted.
Monday's storm left about 2 inches of snow in New Rochelle.
A coastal flood advisory issued by the National Weather Service is in effect for southern Westchester County until 1 p.m. Tuesday.
