New Rochelle Police Harbor Patrol recover body of 62-year-old man

The Harbor Patrol was notified about a body floating in the water near the channel leading out from the New Rochelle Marina to the Long Island Sound.

New Rochelle Police Harbor Patrol say they pulled a body from the water Thursday evening.
Authorities say it happened around 5:30 p.m.
The Harbor Patrol was notified about a body floating in the water near the channel leading out from the New Rochelle Marina to the Long Island Sound.
Jose Sanabria, from White Plains, was pulled from the water unconscious and unresponsive.
Lifesaving measures were unsuccessful, and the 62-year-old man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
An investigation is ongoing, but police say no foul play is suspected.
