Homes and businesses in New Rochelle, Pelham and Pelham Manor are dealing with water problems Thursday.
A utility crew in nearby Eastchester bored a hole in a water main Tuesday. The 30-inch water main is scheduled to be shut off at 11 p.m. Thursday so crews can make the necessary repairs. United Water is asking its customers to conserve water until the problem is fixed. While residents will have water, there will be very little pressure and the water may be rusty.
United Water officials hope to have the problem resolved by Friday morning.
