New Rochelle officers rescue abandoned dog stuck in a sewer

Officers used their dinner to lure Leonardo close enough to be rescued from the sewer.

Officers in New Rochelle are being celebrated for saving an abandoned dog stuck in a sewer.
The Humane Society of Westchester at New Rochelle says the dog, whose name is Leonardo, was wearing a harness and a leash when he was rescued - but had no ID or a microchip.
Officers used their dinner to lure Leonardo close enough to be rescued from the sewer.
Leonardo is now being taken care of at the Humane Society.
